Officer Injured in Collision Near Tupelo Ridge Drive
Saugus, CA (June 14, 2022) – A Los Angeles County sheriff’s motorcycle deputy suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Copper Hill Drive.
Police Motorcycle vs. Car Crash on Copper Hill Drive in Saugus
The KHTS and Santa Clarita Valley News reported an officer riding a patrol motorbike collided with another vehicle in the area near Tupelo Ridge Road. Officials said the crash took place Tuesday morning.
Shortly after 9:27 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics attended to both the deputy and the occupants in the civilian car. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed the deputy sustained moderate injuries in the accident. An ambulance transported the patient to a local hospital for further treatment.
No immediate information was available on the other parties involved in the wreck.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole morning. They continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the collision on Copper Hill Drive in Saugus.
