Drunk Driver Injured After Car Accident at Highway 108 and Mill Villa Road
Jamestown, CA (May 11, 2021) – Police arrested 56-year-old Scott Mahoney in relation with a car crash that occurred in the area of Highway 108 and Mill Villa Road.
According to My Motherlode, Scott Mahoney was behind the wheel of a Dodge Charger heading north on Mill Villa Road towards the highway. Due to the alleged intoxication of Mahoney, he reportedly failed to stop at the posted stop sign. The DUI driver entered the intersection, and traveling directly into the path of a 2017 Peter Built truck.
Scott Mahoney Hospitalized, Arrested in Jamestown Collision
The collision resulted in major injuries to Scott Mahoney, of Jamestown. Responding paramedics reportedly airlifted the injured man to Memorial Medical Center for treatment. Police reportedly place Scott Mahoney under arrest after the incident.
Meanwhile, authorities mentioned the driver of the truck, 60-year-old Anthony Forret, appeared unharmed after the crash.
Further investigation on the case is underway.
