Scott Charles Page, 54, Suspect in Deadly Car Accident Near Taft Highway
Buttonwillow, CA (April 12, 2021) – Police arrested 54-year-old Scott Charles Page in relation with a fatal traffic collision on Interstate 5 Monday morning.
The KGET News reported Scott Page was driving a vehicle traveling south on I-5. In the area near Taft Highway, the 2004 Nissan Murano crashed into the center median of the freeway.
Shortly after 8:10 a.m., emergency teams arrived at the site and found the SUV overturned in a dirt area.

Our sources indicated the force from the impact ejected the female passenger. Responding paramedics sadly pronounced the woman dead at the scene. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Meanwhile, an ambulance reportedly rushed Scott Page to Kern Medical for treatment of major injuries. After medical personnel cleared the driver, police arrested him. The news article published online indicated Scott Page was taken into custody on suspicion of impaired driving.
Further investigation on the catastrophic incident is ongoing.
