Major Injury Collision at Highway 17 and Granite Creek Road
Scotts Valley, CA (September 3, 2022) – At least one person suffered serious injuries following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of Highway 17 and Granite Creek Road.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a man riding a motorcycle collided with a white Subaru Impreza at the intersection in Scotts Valley.
CHP logged the case on August 27, Saturday, at about 5:22 p.m.
When rescue teams arrived at the crash site, they found the motorcyclist lying on the ground. Responding paramedics immediately attended to the victim. After the evaluation, officials confirmed the rider sustained major trauma as a result of the wreck. An ambulance later transported the patient to a hospital for further treatment. Personal information on the injured motorcyclist remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Meanwhile, the occupants in the Subaru appeared unharmed after the incident.
Investigators continue to work at this time to determine the precise cause of the collision on Highway 17in Scotts Valley.
