Major Injury Sebastopol Collision on SR-116
SEBASTOPOL, Calif. (August 30, 2021) — A Sebastopol crash happened Monday morning on State Route Highway 116 near Daywalt Road.
The major-injury collision took place about 9:51 a.m. on August 30th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The CHP reports a gray Honda Accord and a red SUV collided head-on when one vehicle veered into the path of the other one.
The vehicles blocked the eastbound lanes of Gravenstein Highway. The report mentioned a 2-year-old suffered minor to major injuries in the collision.
Also, paramedics responded to transport the injured child to a local hospital. It’s unknown if anyone else suffered injuries in the Sebastopol crash.
Additionally, authorities suspect one of the drivers involved may have been driving under the influence. It’s unknown if the substance involved is drugs, alcohol or a combination of both.
Meanwhile, investigators seek to determine the cause of the crash and liability.
