Shafter: Deadly Car Accident on Highway 43 at Fresno Avenue

3 Killed in Traffic Collision on Highway 43 Tuesday

Shafter, CA (April 21, 2021) – Three people died following a car accident in the area of Highway 43 and Fresno Avenue Tuesday night.

According to Bakersfield Now, a vehicle of unknown make and model crashed at the Shafter junction. The exact time when the catastrophic incident happened have not been revealed thus far.

Responding emergency crews found three people involved in the wreck. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to one victim but they sadly died at the scene.

Meanwhile, medical personnel reportedly transported two people with injuries to hospital. The two patients later succumbed to their injuries.

Police continue to withhold the names of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
