At Least 1 Badly Hurt After Collision on Mobile Park Drive Wednesday
Shingletown, CA (September 8, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a car accident that occurred on Mobile Park Drive in Shingletown Wednesday afternoon.
Our sources indicated a vehicle veered off the roadway for an unknown reason and crashed into a tree along Mobile Park Drive. The collision took place in front of the Shingletown Fire Department.
Per CHP log, the car rolled approximately 20 feet away from the traffic lanes. The make and model of the vehicle involved in the incident remained unknown.
Emergency crews arrived at the crash site shortly after 5:10 p.m. First responders reportedly found a person with severe wounds.
The accident dispatch mentioned a helicopter was called to the scene. However, it remained unclear if the air ambulance actually transported a patient to the hospital.

Officers mentioned they discovered needles and drugs paraphernalia inside the wreckage. Given that, detectives continue to determined whether drugs played a role in the car accident in Shingletown. Further investigation on the case is ongoing.
