Major Injury Collision Near Stearns Street Onramp Monday
Simi Valley, CA (February 18, 2022) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on State Route 118 on February 14.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, a motorcycle rider collided with another vehicle on the westbound lanes of the highway. Earlier reports indicated the crash took place near the Stearns Street onramp.
The CHP logged the incident at about 6:06 a.m.

When emergency crews arrived at the location, they immediately checked the conditions of all parties involved. Officers later confirmed at least one person sustained major injuries as a result of the wreck. The name and age of the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole morning. They continue to investigate the precise cause of the traffic crash on State Route 118 in Simi Valley.
