Major Injury Collision on Paraiso Springs Road Wednesday
Soledad, CA (August 11, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a car accident that occurred on Paraiso Springs Road Wednesday evening.
Initial records indicated a vehicle veered off the traffic lanes while traveling on Paraiso Springs. According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, the Chevrolet Suburban rolled approximately 200 feet down the embankment; and came to a rest inside a private property in the 38520 block of Paraiso Springs Road.
Shortly after 7:05 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the site. Responding firefighters worked extensively to extricate parties trapped in the wreckage.
At Least 1 Hospitalized After Car Accident in Soledad, August 11
Authorities said at least one person suffered major injuries as a result of the collision. Due to the serious condition of the patient, an ambulance rushed the man to Natividad Medical Center for treatment.
Several factors surrounding the car accident in Soledad remained unclear. At this time, investigators continue to work to determine the precise cause of the car crash.
