1 Seriously Injured in Sonoma County Crash at Highway 116 and Arnold Drive
SONOMA COUNTY, CA (June 7, 2021) – A car crash seriously injured at least one person at Highway 116 and Arnold Drive in Sonoma County.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident occurred on Monday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 4:19 p.m.
According to CHP, two vehicles apparently collided head-on in Sonoma County. They crashed for an unknown reason on Highway 116 at the intersection with Arnold Drive.
2 Cars Possibly Collide Head-On
Their incident log described the cars involved as a white Chevrolet pickup truck and a dark gray Honda Accord. One of them went off the road upon impact.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene. They found one individual who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment. The name of the wounded party and their condition at this time were not released.
Meanwhile, CHP forced both lanes of Highway 116 at Arnold Drive to close following the wreck. Authorities are still determining the cause of the Sonoma County crash.
