1 Injured in Sonoma County Crash Highway 37 Near Lakeville Highway

SONOMA COUNTY, CA (March 5, 2022) – One was hospitalized after a car crash on Highway 37 near Lakeville Highway in Sonoma County.

The California Highway Patrol said the accident took place on Saturday evening. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 7:51 p.m.

The incident happened when two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Sonoma County. They crashed on eastbound Highway 37, known as Sears Point Road, just west of Lakeville Highway

2 Cars Collide

The incident log described the cars as a black Dodge Durango and a Chevrolet pickup truck. The Dodge obtained major rear-end damage while the Chevrolet ended up with major front-end damage.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found one person who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.

Medical personnel took the patient to the Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.

Meanwhile, CHP forced the eastbound lanes of Highway 37 to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Sonoma County crash is still under investigation.
