Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Sonoma Crash at Napa and Burndale Roads
SONOMA, CA (March 20, 2022) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash at Napa Road and Burndale Road in Sonoma.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place late Sunday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 5:21 p.m.
CHP said the rider of a Harley Davidson motorcycle and a Toyota Camry collided for an unknown reason in the city of Sonoma. The two crashed at the intersection of Napa and Burndale roads.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Vineburg community. They found the motorcyclist who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver of the car ended up hurt following the wreck. Officers forced the area of Napa and Burndale roads to shut down after the incident.
The cause of the Sonoma crash is still under investigation.
