At Least 1 Hospitalized After Collision In Front Of Beach Retreat
South Lake Tahoe, CA (May 22, 2022) – A car crash that occurred on State Route Highway 50 resulted in injuries, the CBS News reported.

Officials said two vehicles collided on SR-50, also known as Lake Tahoe Boulevard, in front of Beach Retreat. The make and model of the cars involved in the wreck have not been revealed thus far.
Shortly after 6:40 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding firefighters worked extensively to extricate at least one person trapped on the vehicle flipped onto its roof. According to the article published online, the victim was eventually pulled out then transported to the hospital. The name of the patient, and their condition at this time remained undisclosed.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole morning. They continue to investigate exactly how and why the accident happened on Highway 50 in South Lake Tahoe.
