Vehicles Strikes, Kills Woman Near Worthington Street
Spring Valley, CA (April 18, 2022) – A deadly pedestrian accident occurred on Paradise Valley Road late Saturday night.
According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, a female party attempted to cross Paradise Valley Road. Earlier reports indicated an oncoming vehicle struck the pedestrian. The collision took place Worthington Street.
Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Paradise Valley Road in Spring Valley
Emergency crews arrived at the crash site shortly after 11 p.m. Responding paramedics rendered aid to the female pedestrian found with injuries. Despite life-saving measures performed by medical personnel, the woman sadly succumbed to her injuries and died. Authorities only identified the fatal victim as a 54-year-old woman from Oceanside.
Meanwhile, the 52-year-old Lakeside man driving the SUV reportedly appeared unharmed after the collision.
Detectives stayed at the scene for several hours. They continue to investigate the precise cause of the deadly accident on Paradise Valley Road in Spring Valley.
