Vehicle Strikes, Kills Pedestrian Near Jamacha Road Friday
Spring Valley, CA (January 21, 2022) – A deadly pedestrian accident occurred Friday evening on Sweetwater Road, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune.
Earlier reports indicated a teenager driving a 2010 Volvo XC90 struck an individual on Sweetwater Road. The catastrophic incident took place in the area south of Jamacha Road.
Emergency crews arrived at the crash site shortly after 7:10 p.m. Responding medical personnel immediately attended to the pedestrian found lying on the ground. Despite life-saving measures, the victims sadly succumbed to their injuries and died at the scene. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, the driver of the Volvo and his occupants reportedly appeared unharmed after the unfortunate event.
Investigators continue to work at this time to determine liability in the deadly pedestrian accident on Sweetwater Road in Spring Valley.
