Pedestrian Injured in Crash at Spring Valley Parkway and Vista Point Drive
SPRING VALLEY LAKE, CA (September 6, 2021) – A pedestrian was hospitalized after a crash at Spring Valley Parkway and Vista Point Drive.
The California Highway Patrol received a call about the accident on Sunday evening. Officers reported the incident on September 5 at about 6:47 p.m. in Spring Valley Lake.
According to CHP, a white sedan struck a female pedestrian for an unknown reason. The car hit her at the intersection of Spring Valley Parkway and Vista Point Drive.
Victim Hit by Car
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Spring Valley Lake Country Club. They found the victim hurt and down on the ground as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to the Desert Regional Medical Center for treatment of unspecified injuries. Officials did not disclose her name and condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the driver of the car stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the victim. Officers forced the area of Spring Valley and Vista Point to close following the pedestrian crash.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
