Deadly Hit-and-Run Collision at Highway 180 and Blackstone Avenue
Fresno, CA (June 20, 2022) – Steven Wayne Fisher, a 41-year-old man, suffered fatal injuries following a pedestrian accident that occurred in the area of Highway 180 and Blackstone Avenue.
Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Vehicle in Fresno
According to Your Central Valley, and FOX News, Fisher was walking near the intersection on May 29. While attempted to cross the street, a passing vehicle struck the male pedestrian. The collision resulted in fatal injuries to the individual. Despite life-saving measures performed by responding paramedics, the victim sadly succumbed to his injuries and died. The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office identified the deceased as Steven Wayne Fisher.
Earlier reports mentioned the driver involved in the catastrophic incident fled the scene. At this time, detectives continue to gather information to identify and locate the hit-and-run suspect.
Investigators handling the case continue to work to determine several unclear factors surrounding the deadly accident.
