Motorcyclist Killed in Stockton Crash on Highway 26 Near Beecher Road
STOCKTON, CA (May 21, 2022) – A crash killed a motorcyclist on Highway 26 near Beecher Road in Stockton.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the tragic accident on Friday night near the Linden area. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 8:40 p.m.
The incident happened on May 20 when the motorcycle rider and a Ford Explorer collided in Stockton. The two crashed for an unknown reason at 11211 Highway 26 near Beecher Road.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
The dirt bike ended up in a ditch on the right hand shoulder upon impact. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and then found the rider down on the ground.
Medical personnel soon confirmed that the motorcyclist died as a result of the collision. The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver of the car stopped or if they sustained injuries following the wreck. The cause of the fatal Stockton crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced a stretch of Highway 26 to shut down for a time near Beecher after the incident.
