Pedestrian Killed in Stockton Crash at Wilson Way and Vail Avenue
STOCKTON, CA (November 6, 2021) – A crash killed a pedestrian at Wilson Way and Vail Avenue in Stockton.
The California Highway Patrol said the tragic accident took place late Saturday night. According to their dispatch, officers reported the collision at about 10:17 p.m.
The incident happened when a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason in Stockton. The driver hit the person at the intersection of North Wilson Way and Vail Avenue.
Victim Hit by Vehicle
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Sanguinetti Lane. They found the victim down on the ground as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then pronounced the patient dead. The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the motorist stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the person. Officers forced the area of Wilson Way and Vail Avenue to close following the collision.
The cause of the fatal Stockton pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
