1 Seriously Injured in Stockton Crash Near Mariposa Road and Murphy Road
STOCKTON, CA (May 23, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a motorcycle crash near Mariposa Road and Murphy Road in Stockton.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the accident late Saturday night. According to their dispatch team, officers reported the wreck at around 11:46 p.m.
The incident happened on May 22 when two motorcycle riders and a sedan collided for an unknown reason in Stockton. They crashed near the intersection of Mariposa Road and Murphy Road.

CHP said the car became fully engulfed in flames due to the impact of the collision. Firefighters along with the soon paramedics responded to the scene near Gawne Road.
Medical personnel found one person who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. They then took the wounded party to a hospital for treatment.
Officials did not release the name of the patient and their condition at this time. They did not mention if the victim was the motorcyclist or an occupant of the burning vehicle.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the intersection of Mariposa and Murphy to close following the Stockton crash. Authorities are still determining the cause of the wreck.
