Pedestrian Injured in Stockton Hit-and-Run at McClellan and Gettysburg
STOCKTON, CA (January 4, 2021) – A hit-and-run crash injured a pedestrian at McClellan Way and Gettysburg Place in Stockton.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident took place on Tuesday night. According to their dispatch, officers reported the collision shortly after 8 p.m.
The incident happened when a vehicle struck a male pedestrian and a dog for an unknown reason in Stockton. The driver hit them at the intersection of McClellan Way and Gettysburg Place.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Lincoln Shopping Center. They found the victim hurt as a result of the collision
Medical personnel then treated the patient for the unspecified injuries he sustained in the accident. The report did not disclose his name and condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the motorist did not stop to help and fled the area. Officers forced the corner of McClellan and Gettysburg to shut down following the incident.
The cause of the Stockton hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
