Pedestrian Killed in Studio City Crash on Ventura Boulevard Friday
STUDIO CITY, CA (December 31, 2021) – A crash killed a pedestrian on Ventura Boulevard in Studio City.
According to the KTLA News and CBS Los Angeles, the tragic accident took place on Friday evening. Officers reported the collision at about 6:51 p.m.
The Los Angeles Fire Department said a vehicle struck a male pedestrian in Studio City. The car hit him at 12903 West Ventura Boulevard.
Man Hit by Car
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and then found the man lying on the ground. He sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon pronounced the victim dead at the scene. His name has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, officials affirmed that the driver stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the man. Officers forced a stretch of Ventura Boulevard to shut down following the incident.
The cause of the fatal Studio City pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
