Summer Eitel, 39, Dead After Fiery Truck Crash Near Manning Avenue Sunday
Fresno County, CA (April 26, 2021) – 39-year-old Summer Eitel died following a traffic collision on Highway 99 Sunday morning, according to Your Central Valley.
The news article published online indicated Summer Eitel, of Carmichael, was a passenger in a U-Haul truck traveling on Highway 99.
When the truck approached the area near Manning Avenue, the driver reportedly swerved off the right shoulder of the highway. First responders found the vehicle smashed into a tree.
The force from the impact caused the truck to burst into flames. Firefighters at the scene worked extensively to put out the fire.
Authorities said the driver swerved off the right shoulder. Sadly, Summer Eitel could not be rescued in time. Responding medical personnel sadly pronounced the female passenger dead.

Meanwhile, an ambulance transferred the injured driver to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The California Highway Patrol continue to investigate at this time to determine exactly why the truck veered off the roadway.
