SUNLAND, Calif. (Feb. 2, 2023) – Two people were injured in a Sunland car accident Thursday morning on West Foothill Boulevard.
The two-vehicle crash happened about 9:50 a.m. on Feb. 2nd in the 8600 block of West Foothill Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
A 45-year-old man became trapped in the wreckage, but responding firefighters freed him from the vehicle before taking him to a hospital in critical condition, the LAFD said.
Meanwhile, a 75-year-old woman suffered serious injuries in the crash. An ambulance transported her to a hospital for follow-up treatment, fire officials said.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the collision.
