Pedestrian Killed in Sunnyvale Accident at Maude and Borregas Avenues
SUNNYVALE, CA (May 6, 2021) – A pedestrian was killed after an accident at Maude and Borregas avenues in Sunnyvale.
According to The Mercury News and CBS San Francisco, the tragic collision occurred on Wednesday morning. Officers reported the crash at around 5:10 a.m.
The incident happened on May 5 when a car struck a man for an unknown reason in Sunnyvale. The driver hit the male pedestrian at the intersection of West Maude and Borregas avenues.

Firefighters along with the paramedics responded and found the victim lying on the ground and suffering from major injuries as a result of the accident.
Medical personnel soon pronounced him dead at the scene. His name remains unreleased pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver of the vehicle stopped after hitting the victim. The motorist stayed at the crash site and cooperated with the officials.
