2 Injured in Tarzana Crash on 101 Freeway Near Reseda Boulevard
TARZANA, CA (January 17, 2022) – Two were hospitalized after a Tesla crash on the 101 Freeway near Reseda Boulevard in Tarzana.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place late Monday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 10 p.m.
CHP said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Tarzana. They crashed on the westbound side of the 101 Freeway, just west of Reseda Boulevard.
Tesla and Minivan Collide
The incident log described the two cars as a silver Toyota Sienna and a blue Tesla. The Tesla then obtained front-end damage due to the impact of the collision.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found two people who sustained minor injuries as a result of the wreck.
Medical personnel took them to the Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center for treatment. The report did not disclose the names of the wounded patients and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the westbound 101 Freeway at the Reseda on-ramp to shut down following the incident. The cause of the Tarzana crash is still under investigation.
