1 Hospitalized After Multi-Vehicle Collision at Vail Lake Resort
Temecula, CA (March 29, 2022) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on State Route 79 near Vail Oak Road.
The Patch News reported multiple vehicles crashed with each other on the highway in Temecula. Our sources indicated the collision took place at the Vail Lake Resort Tuesday afternoon.
When rescue teams arrived at the site, they found as many as four cars with significant damage. Officers described the cars involved in the wreck as a white van, white truck, black Subaru Outback, and Tan Lexus.
At Least 1 Hurt in Temecula Car Accident on State Route 79
Responding paramedics rendered aid to all possible victims in the crash. After the evaluation, an ambulance transported one patient to Temecula Valley Hospital for further treatment. Personal information on the injured party remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Police issued a two-hour Sig Alert as emergency vehicles and tow trucks headed to the scene down narrow roads through halted traffic. The area was reopened to traffic at about 2:45 p.m.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the car crash on State Route 79 near Vail Oak Road.
