At Least 1 Hurt in Collision on Temecula Valley Freeway Thursday
Temecula, CA (August 7, 2021) – A suspected hit-and-run car crash occurred on Interstate 5, also known as Temecula Valley Freeway, on August 5.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, two vehicles collided in the northbound side of the freeway Friday morning. First responders found at the scene a black Toyota Camry. Meanwhile, the make and model of the other car involved in the wreck remained unknown.
Medical personnel arrived at the site shortly after 8:48 a.m. The CHP log confirmed a female party sustained injuries as a result of the mishap. Additional details on the victim have not been discussed thus far.

Meanwhile, earlier reports indicated the second vehicle fled the scene before police arrived. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
Investigators continue to work at this time to determine several factors surrounding the hit-and-run crash in Temecula.
