Passenger Hospitalized After Suspected DUI Collision on State Route 56 Saturday
San Diego, CA (July 10, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred on State Route 56 early Saturday.
The FOX5 News reported a Tesla car crashed into a parked California Highway Patrol vehicle along the highway in San Diego. Preliminary investigation revealed the officers were investigating another traffic collision in the area near Carmel Country Road.
Our sources indicated the car accident happened shortly after 3:10 a.m.
Paramedics at the scene rendered aid to a passenger in the Tesla. According to the article published online, the injured woman was later taken to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.

Meanwhile, the 29-year-old woman driving the Tesla reportedly appeared drunk. Police reportedly arrested the woman, from San Diego, on suspicion of driving under of the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.
Further investigation on the car accident on State Route 56 is underway.
