Motorist, 23, Dead After Car Crash on South Westlake Boulevard Near Potrero Road Saturday
Westlake Village, CA (May 2, 2021) – On May 1, Saturday, a deadly car accident occurred on South Westlake Boulevard, the Ventura County Star reported.
Officials said a 23-year-old man was behind the wheel of a Tesla car traveling at a high-rate of speed on Westlake Boulevard. In the area south of Potrero Road, the dark-colored Tesla veered off the roadway. Subsequently, the solo-vehicle slammed into a telephone pole.

Shortly after 7:05 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the crash sit and found the driver trapped in the wreckage. Ventura County firefighters extricated the victim and provided him medical treatment. Sadly, the man succumbed to his injuries and was ultimately pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Authorities mentioned the catastrophic incident did not involve any other automobiles.
At this time, detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate the deadly car accident on Westlake Boulevard.
