Thomas Blosser, 31; and Derrick Laub, 33, Killed in Whitewater Crash on Interstate 10
WHITEWATER, CA (September 25, 2021) – A car crash killed Thomas Blosser and Derrick Laub on the Interstate 10 in Whitewater.
The coroner’s office identified the two men as victims of the fatal collision which occurred on Friday afternoon.
The incident began when 31-year-old Thomas Blosser and 33-year-old Derrick Laub were riding a vehicle on the eastbound Interstate 10 in Whitewater.
Collision Near Highway 62
For an unknown reason, their car then went off the road just west of Highway 62. The KESQ News and My News LA wrote that the accident took place on September 24 at about 4:55 p.m.
Both Thomas Blosser, of Anza; and Derrick Laub, of Hemet, died at the scene of the crash. Deputies did not mention if any other party ended up hurt as a result of the wreck.
Officers soon forced the eastbound lanes of the Interstate 10 to shut down for a time near Highway 62 following the collision. Meanwhile, the cause of the Whitewater crash is still under investigation.
