Thomas Holdener, 27, Killed in Tracy Crash at Highway 33 and Lehman Road
SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, CA (March 23, 2022) – Thomas Holdener was killed after a car crash at Highway 33 and Lehman Road south of Tracy.
The Medical Examiner’s Office identified the 27-year-old Stockton man as the victim of the fatal wreck which occurred on Tuesday.
The incident happened when Thomas Holdener was driving a 2003 Hyundai sedan heading south on Interstate 5 towards Highway 33 in Tracy. At the same time, a 2018 Ford utility truck was going north on the highway.
Utility Truck and Car Collide
The car stopped at a stop sign at the end of the off-ramp and turned left to head south on Highway 33. Meanwhile, the truck failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection with Lehman Road.
In the process, the Ford slammed into the the driver’s side of the Hyundai. The Tracy Press wrote that the accident took place on March 22 at about 6:28 a.m.
Thomas Holdener died at the scene of the crash. The California Highway Patrol said the driver of the truck, a 63-year-old man, ended up unharmed following the collision.
CHP forced the area of Highway 33 and Lehman Road to shut down for hours as a result of the wreck. The cause of the Tracy crash is still under investigation.
