1 Injured in Tierra Buena Crash Near Highway 20 and Township Road
TIERRA BUENA, CA (February 13, 2022) – One was hospitalized after a car crash near Highway 20 and Township Road in Tierra Buena.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident on Saturday, February 12. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck shortly before noon.
CHP said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the Tierra Buena area of Sutter County. They crashed near the intersection of Highway 20 and Township Road.
2 Cars Collide
CHP described the cars as a gray BMW sedan and a maroon sedan. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Yuba City.
Medical personnel found one person who complained of pain to their neck as a result of the collision. They then took the patient to the Adventist Health and Rideout for treatment of minor injuries.
The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the corner of Highway 20 and Township Road to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Tierra Buena crash is still under investigation.
