1 Seriously Injured in Tipton Crash on Road 96 Near Avenue 152
TIPTON, CA (December 31, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a crash near Road 96 and Avenue 152 in Tipton.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident took place early Friday. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck shortly after 3 a.m.
The incident happened when a red Nissan Versa and a big truck collided for an unknown reason in Tipton. They crashed on Road 96, just north of the intersection with Avenue 152.
Car and Truck Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Highway 99. They found one person who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient the Kaweah Health Medical Center for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Road 96 and Avenue 152 to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Tipton crash is still under investigation.
