
3 Injured in Toluca Lake Crash Near Cahuenga Boulevard and Moorpark Street
LOS ANGELES, CA (March 19, 2023) – Several were injured after a crash near Cahuenga Boulevard and Moorpark Street in Toluca Lake.
According to the CBS Los Angeles and KTLA News, the accident took place on Sunday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck on March 19 at around 1:20 p.m.
The Los Angels Fire Department said two cars collided for an unknown reason in the Toluca Lake neighborhood. The vehicles crashed in the 4300 block of North Cahuenga Boulevard near Moorpark Street.
2 Cars Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and freed one trapped occupant from the wreckage. A total of three people ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
One victim, a 20-year-old man, sustained critical injuries upon impact. The other two, a 20-year-old woman and a 40-year-old woman, survived the incident with moderate injuries.
Medical personnel then rushed all three patients to a hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced a stretch of Cahuenga Boulevard to shut down near Moorpark following the wreck. The cause of the Toluca Lake crash is still under investigation.
