Tracy crash Interstate 205 MaCarthur
1 Seriously Injured in Tracy Crash on Interstate 205 Near MaCarthur Drive
TRACY, CA (February 13, 2022) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash on the Interstate 205 near MaCarthur Drive in Tracy.
The California Highway Patrol said the wreck took place early Sunday. According to their dispatch, officers reported the accident at about 1:49 a.m.
The incident happened when two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Tracy. They crashed on the westbound Interstate 205, just east of MaCarthur Drive.
2 Cars Collide
CHP described the cars as a silver Chevrolet Tahoe and a Mercedes. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
Medical personnel found one person who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. They then took the patient to a hospital for treatment.
The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the westbound lanes of the Interstate 205 to shut down near MaCarthur following the wreck.
The cause of the Tracy crash is still under investigation.
