Tracy crash Interstate 580 Grant Line
1 Injured in Tracy Hit-and-Run Crash on Interstate 580 at Grant Line Road
TRACY, CA (October 10, 2021) – At least one was injured after a hit-and-run crash on the Interstate 580 and Grant Line Road in Tracy.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Sunday morning. Officers reported the wreck at around 10:51 a.m.
CHP said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Tracy. They crashed on the westbound side of the Interstate 580 at Grant Line Road.
2 Vehicles Collide
The incident log described the cars as a gray Toyota Sienna and a black Toyota RAV4. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
They found one victim who ended up hurt as a result of the collision. Medical personnel treated the patient for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the wreck.
The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that one of the drivers involved did not stop to render aid and then fled the area.
Officers forced the westbound Interstate 580 at Grant Line to shut down following the accident. The cause of the Tracy hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
