Major Injury Crash on I-580, Big Rig Truck
TRACY, Calif. (June 10, 2022) — A semi-truck crash in Tracy happened Friday on the Interstate 580 Freeway, just east of Mountain House Parkway.
The collision occurred about 5:31 a.m. on June 10th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A commercial semi-truck reportedly crossed from the eastbound I-580 Freeway into westbound lanes and collided with two other motorists, police said.
A red SUV overturned onto its roof and there was a motorcycle stopped nearby. Meanwhile, police issued a SigAlert and called for paramedics to respond.

Also, two people suffered injuries in the crash. At least one of them was airlifted to a trauma center with major injuries from the crash.
Eventually, the roadway reopened to traffic about 7:42 a.m.
Investigators are piecing together evidence and witness statements to determine liability for the Tracy crash on the 580 Freeway.
