2 Injured in Tulare County Hit-and-Run Crash on Indian Reservation Road
TULARE COUNTY, CA (December 31, 2021) – Two were hospitalized after a hit-and-run crash on Indian Reservation Road in Tulare County.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident took place late Friday night. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck shortly after 11 p.m.
The incident happened when two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Tulare County. They crashed at 32657 Indian Reservation Road, just west of Chimney Road.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Porterville and Springville. They found two people riding the victim car hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patients to the Sierra View Medical Center for treatment of unspecified injutird. The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the other driver involved did not stop to render aid and fled eastbound on Indian Reservation Road. They described the suspect vehicle as a white pickup truck.
Officers forced a stretch of the roadway to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Tulare County hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
