1 Injured in Tulare County Hit-and-Run Crash Near Road 144 and Avenue 160
TULARE COUNTY, CA (September 10, 2021) – A hit-and-run crash injured at least one person near Road 144 and Avenue 160 in Tulare County.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred late Friday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 5:41 p.m.
CHP said a 2013 white Ford F-150 crashed into a canal near Woodville in Tulare County. The pickup truck ended up with front-end damage on Road 144, just south of Avenue 160.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found one person lying on the ground outside the car as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then provided treatment to the victim for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the incident. Officials did not release the name of the patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that a driver involved did not stop to help and fled the area. They did not mention if another vehicle was involved in the wreck.
Officers forced a stretch of Road 144 near Avenue 160 to shut down following the collision. The Tulare County hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
