3 Injured in Tulare Hit-and-Run Crash at Road 36 and Avenue 232
TULARE, CA (February 12, 2022) – Several were hospitalized after a hit-and-run crash at Road 36 and Avenue 232 in Tulare.
The California Highway Patrol said the wreck took place on Saturday evening. According to their dispatch, officers reported the accident shortly after 7:30 p.m.
CHP said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the city of Tulare. They crashed at the intersection of Road 36 and Avenue 232.
2 Vehicles Collide
The incident log described one of the cars involved as a white Infiniti. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
Medical personnel found three people who ended up hurt as a result of the collision. They then took them to the Kaweah Health Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
The report did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the male driver of the Infiniti abandoned the car and fled on foot.
Officers forced the area of Road 36 and Avenue 232 to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Tulare hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
