2 Injured in Turlock Crash on Eastbound Taylor Road Near Walnut
TURLOCK, CA (November 18, 2021) – Two were hospitalized after a car crash on Taylor Road in the city of Turlock.
According to an article published by The Turlock Area News, the accident took place last week on Thursday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 3:19 p.m.
The incident happened on November 4 when three vehicles collided in the 2100 block of West Taylor Road in Turlock.
Police described the cars as a blue Toyota SUV, a gray Nissan sedan, and a black Dodge pickup truck. The vehicles were all going east when for an unknown reason the Nissan struck the rear of the Toyota.
Multiple Cars Collide
In the process, the Dodge slammed into the back of the sedan. The Toyota obtained minor damage while the Nissan ended up with major damage due to the impact.
The pickup truck came to a stop with moderate damage. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Walnut Road and found two people hurt.
An occupant of the sedan sustained moderate injuries as a result of the collision. A person riding in the Dodge survived with minor injuries upon impact.
Medical personnel then took both patients to a hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, police forced a stretch of Taylor Road to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Turlock crash is still under investigation.
