1 Badly Injured in Turlock Hit-and-Run Crash Near Canal and Palm
TURLOCK, CA (November 18, 2021) – One was badly injured after a hit-and-run crash near Canal Drive and Palm Street in Turlock.
According to an article published by The Turlock Area News, the accident took place last month on October 19. Officers reported the wreck at about 10:28 p.m.
Turlock police said a black Ford sedan and a silver Chrysler minivan collided for an unknown reason. The two crashed near the intersection of East Canal Drive and North Palm Street.
Both vehicles obtained moderate damage due to the impact. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found an occupant of the Chrysler hurt.
Driver Hits Minivan, Flees Scene
The patient sustained moderate injuries as a result of the collision. Medical personnel then took the victim to a local hospital for treatment.
The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver of the Ford abandoned the car and fled on foot southbound on Palm.
They soon located an identification card inside the sedan. The ID belonged to a person with a suspended license and a misdemeanor warrant for resisting a peace officer.
Officers shut down the area of Canal Drive and Palm Street to gather more evidence. The Turlock hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
