Ty Sundance Dunlap, 34, Killed in Bakersfield Pedestrian Crash on Pacheco
BAKERSFIELD, CA (January 3, 2022) – Ty Sundance Dunlap was killed after a pedestrian crash on Pacheco Road in Bakersfield.
The coroner’s office identified the 34-year-old Bakersfield man as the victim of the fatal collision which took place on New Year’s Eve.
The incident happened when a vehicle struck Ty Sundance Dunlap in the city of Bakersfield. For an unknown reason, the driver hit him in the 300 block of Pacheco Road.

The Bakersfield Californian and Kern Golden Empire wrote that the pedestrian accident occurred on Friday, December 31, shortly after 6:30 p.m.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. Ty Sundance Dunlap ended up suffering from serious injuries as a result of the pedestrian crash.
Medical personnel then rushed him to the Kern Medical, where he died. Meanwhile, police affirmed that the motorist stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the victim.
Officers forced a stretch of Pacheco Road to shut down for a time following the collision. The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
