1 Killed in Multi-Vehicle Collision Near Campus Avenue Tuesday
Upland, CA (February 8, 2022) – A deadly car accident occurred on Interstate 210, also known as Foothill Freeway, early Tuesday morning.
The California Highway Patrol group reported multiple vehicles collided in the eastbound side of the freeway near Campus Avenue. Officials identified the cars found at the scene as a gray Mazda, and a dark-colored sedan. The make and model of the other cars involved in the wreck have not been revealed thus far.
CHP logged the case at about 1:08 a.m.
When rescue teams arrived at the location, they immediately rendered aid to all the possible victims. Paramedics mentioned they performed life-saving measures to one person, but they sadly succumbed to their injuries and died. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Detectives handling the case continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the deadly crash on Interstate 210 in Upland.
