At Least 1 Hurt in Collision on San Diego Freeway Monday
Van Nuys, CA (December 9, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a suspected hit-and-run car crash that occurred on Interstate 405, also known as San Diego Freeway.
On December 6, Monday, two vehicles collided in the southbound side of the freeway at Sherman Way in Van Nuys. First responders found at the scene a green Fiat 500 with significant damage. Meanwhile, the make and model of the other car involved in the crash have not been discussed thus far.
Medical personnel arrived at the site shortly after 8:50 a.m. Responding paramedics rendered aid to all possible victims in the collision. At least one person reportedly suffered injuries as a result of the wreck.

According to the CHP dispatch, the other driver fled the scene before police arrived. Detectives continue to work to determine the identity and location of the hit-and-run suspect.
Further investigation on the case is ongoing.
