3 Children Hospitalized After Collision at Victoria Avenue and Olivas Park Drive
Ventura, CA (November 22, 2022) – Several people, including three juveniles, suffered serious injuries following a car accident that occurred in the area of Victoria Avenue and Olivas Park Drive.
The KVTA News reported a vehicle heading north on Victoria attempted to make a turn onto westbound Olivas Park. Preliminary investigation revealed the driver made the turn against a red arrow.
While entering Olivas Park, the vehicle collided with another car heading south on Victoria. The crash took place at about 10:35 p.m.
5 Injured in Ventura Car Accident
When emergency crews arrived at the site, they found both automobiles with significant damage. Responding paramedics found as many as five people in the southbound car. According to the article published online, three children and two adults all sustained moderate to serious injuries as a result of the wreck. Medical personnel transported all five patients to hospitals for treatment and further evaluation.
The only driver in the northbound vehicle appeared unharmed after the incident.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the injury car crash at Victoria Avenue and Olivas Park Drive in Ventura.
