1 Injured in Ventura Crash on Westbound Highway 126 Near Wells Road
VENTURA, CA (May 27, 2021) – At least one was injured after a car crash on Highway 126 near Wells Road in Ventura.
The California Highway Patrol received a call about the accident on Tuesday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck on May 25 at around 1:46 p.m.
According to their report log, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Ventura. The two crashed on the westbound side of Highway 126 near Wells Road.

CHP described the cars involved as a gold Mercury Grand Marquis and a white Ford van. The Mercury obtained major front-end damage due to the impact of the collision.
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and then found one individual who ended up hurt as a result of the incident.
Medical personnel then treated the patient for the minor injuries they sustained in the wreck. Officials did not release the name of the wounded person and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the westbound lanes of Highway 126 to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Ventura crash is still under investigation.
