1 Hospitalized After Collision Near Padre Juan Canyon Overpass
Ventura County, CA (May 27, 2022) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Highway 101.
The Ventura County Star News reported two vehicles, or possibly more, collided on the highway just south of the Seacliff interchange. According to the article published online, the crash took place in a construction zone near the Padre Juan Canyon overpass.

Emergency crews arrived at the location shortly after 10:48 a.m. Responding paramedics rendered aid to all parties found at the accident scene. After the evaluation, medical personnel transported one patient to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
The collision backed up northbound traffic along the coastal stretch into Ventura city limits. When officers reached the site, they shut down the highway to give way to the investigation process. Detectives continue to work to determine the precise cause of the car crash on Highway 101 in Ventura County.
