Motorcyclist Killed in Ventura County Crash at Highway 33 and Meiners Road
VENTURA COUNTY, CA (May 27, 2023) – A crash killed a motorcyclist at Highway 33 and Meiners Road in Ventura County.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the tragic accident took place on Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck on May 27 at about 1:14 p.m.
The incident happened when the rider of a red street bike and another vehicle collided for an unknown reason in the Meiners Oaks community of Ventura County.
Motorcycle and Vehicle Collide
CHP said the two crashed at the intersection of Highway 33 and Meiners Road. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found the motorcyclist down on the ground.
Medical personnel confirmed that the victim died as a result of the collision. The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the other driver ended up hurt or if they stopped following the wreck. Officers forced the area of Highway 33 and Meiners Road to shut down for a time after the accident.
The cause of the fatal Ventura County crash is still under investigation.
